Hiroshi Sakate was born in Hiroshima (1972) is a Japanese architect, designer and photographer.
He is based in Italy since 1998.
In 1995 he graduated in architecture in Japan, at 'Osaka Sangyo University'.
After graduation he started to work as architect in Japan at several projects as graphic designer, illustrator, art director and architect.
In 1998 he moved to Florence, Italy, where he spent the first several months learning the language and Italy's visual culture, then starting different design projects including works in DTP (Desk Top Publishing) and residential housing projects while maintaining his own aestetichal researchs in graphic design and photography.
In 1999 he was invited to work for several major architecture's studios in Milan, where he moved to live. From 1999 to 2007 he intensify his activity as architect and interior designer for projects in Italy, Dubai, Japan.
He is much appreciated for his multidisciplinary approach to Design and his ability to consider aesthetic, functional, economic and sociopolitical dimensions of both the design object and design process.

Hiroshi Sakate, architetto e fotografo giapponese, vive a Milano dal 1998.
Si laurea in architettura nel 1995 presso l' Osaka Sangyo University e si dedica a lavori di progettazione e realizzazione di edilizia residenziale, dopo lavora per il DTP (Desk Top Publishing).
Nel 1998 si trasferisce dal Giappone in Italia, a Firenze, e dopo qualche mese, nello stesso anno, a Milano, dove dal 1999 inizia a collaborare con diversi studi di architettura.
La costante ricerca di forme espressive differenti, attraverso esperienze maturate nel campo della grafica e della fotografia, arricchisce le sue competenze ed espressioni in campo professionale e artistico.
